Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-22
Cardmi has no account, no analytics and no iCloud sync. Cards are stored only on your iPhone and Apple Watch, and the camera reads a barcode or the text on a paper business card on the device itself.
When a card is added to Apple Wallet, its name, number, format, colour and, for a business card, its contact fields go over HTTPS to our pass-signing service on Google Cloud (Firebase), are signed in memory and returned; nothing is stored or logged. Each request carries an Apple App Attest check that proves it comes from a genuine copy of Cardmi and contains no personal data. Web business cards keep every field inside the link itself, which never reaches a server.
What stays on your device
- The camera is used only to read the barcode on a loyalty card or the text on a paper business card, on your device. No photo or video is saved or sent.
- Everything you create or import in the app is stored only on your device.
No third-party tracking
Cardmi contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no cross-app tracking identifier (IDFA).
Subscriptions
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. We never see your payment details.
Subscription offers are shown by Superwall, which receives anonymous device and paywall-interaction data to display the offer and confirm a purchase. It never receives your name, email or anything you record in the app.

Contact
Questions about this policy: use the contact form. If you write to us through it, your name, email and message are sent through Web3Forms (a form-processing service) to reach us and are used only to answer you; the app itself never sends them.
